



Create awareness about an issue we had discovered in Town from a Critical Studies
Assignment. Our teams issue was, Pigeon Triangle and the way in which they (pigeons) congregate at
one specific location in JHB central from that create awareness by developing two ambient forms of advertising and 1 traditional form of advertising.
We decided to advertise the square as a tourist attraction in the inner city as there
isn’t much happening in the western part of JHB city besides this
landmark. Our target market is LSM 7-10, mostly made up of people living, outside
the city but in the suburbs, who would be lured to get out of their comfort zone and
discover the beauty of the inner city. For our ambient media we used pigeon oragmai
maps placed in malls e.g (Hyde Park) with maps inside them, and seed bags placed
at Pigeon triangle as a reward for using the map for our second ambient execution.
